Wow, Paul, the Dropbox plugin for Dolphin was disabled! I don't know why...
Anyway, I enabled it and the checkmarks are not visible anymore in a
Git-controlled folder. If I disable the Dropbox plugin, the checkmarks return.
So there must be a conflict between the two plugins (Dropbox and Git).
