            Bug ID: 492706
Summary: act as administrator -> "create new" buttons/entries
are greyed out and not clickable & copying does not
                    work
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 24.08.0
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: waynejwoww at outlook.com
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. activate the "act as administrator" feature.
2. try to create a new file or subfolder within a folder the current "normal"
user has no writing rights (e.g. "/" ) either by clicking a "create new" button
in a toolbar or by clicking the right mouse button and using the context menu.
3. try to copy a file IN such folder via ctrl+c or clicking "paste" in the
right click context menu.

OBSERVED RESULT
- "create new" toolbar button and mouse right click menu entry (context menu
entry) are greyed out and not clickable.
- when i try to create a new folder with ctrl+shift+n (which is imho the
default keyboard shortcut for creating new folders) it does not work also, but
an orange banner below the location bar in dolphin appears, reading: "Cannot
create new folder: You do not have permission to create items in this folder."
- copying IN the folder does NOT work too. when trying via ctrl+v, the same
orange banner appears. the "paste" entry in the right click context menu does
not show up.
- note that deleting, renaming and duplicating (!) files within the folder DOES
indeed work. (on a side note: there is no "move to trash" option available but
only the "hard"-delete.)

EXPECTED RESULT
creating new files and folders and copying files should be possible. (also
"move to trash" should be an option instead of only the "hard"-delete option.)
