Summary: When entering a directory from a directory that
contains a PDF file, the `pdf` extension briefly
                    persists on the screen
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 24.08.2
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: m.lincetto at gmail.com
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When Dolphin is open on a directory A that contains a directory B and a PDF
file, upon entering directory B the 'pdf' extension briefly persists on screen.

This is not a recent bug, I have been observing it for quite some time (I don't
remember whether or not it was there on X11 though).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a directory A, put a directory B and a PDF file in it.
2. Enter directory B from directory A by double clicking on it.

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin enters directory B, and shows its content. The 'pdf' extension of the
PDF file briefly persists on screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
No filenames or graphic elements from the previous directory persists on
screen.
