Bug ID: 486606
Summary: Option to disable renaming by clicking selected file's
name
Classification: Applications
Product: dolphin
Version: 24.02.2
Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: view-engine: details mode
Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
Reporter: typingcat at gmail.com
CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
I wish there is an option to disable by clicking selected file's name. I don't
need to edit file names that often, and it is too often executed by a mistake.
I can rename files using the easy shortcut F2, so I do not need this renaming
by clicking the name, but I could not find any option to disable it.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In details view mode
2. Select a file by clicking the file name once.
3. Click the file name once again.
OBSERVED RESULT
Renaming starts.
EXPECTED RESULT
I wish I could disable this.
