So Device Number has changed, inode stayed the same... 

That explains the gradually increasing number of results in the search. Worth
watching to see if the pattern continues...

So the question is why. Do you do anything out of the ordinary with the disk
mounts? Are they mounted through /etc/fstab or somehow else?
