I am facing the same issue on:
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11
KDE Frameworks version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.13
different kernels from 6.8 to 6.12
Graphic Platform: X11

I tried "coredumpctl" but it says "No coredump found.".

More about symptopms:
Dolphin shows preview of images inside VeraCrypt container, I can open them
using some other image vieweing apps (Okular) however my default app Gwenview
fails to open them. The same problem with text files. One day I had the same
issue when tried to open an image from a HDD which is automounting from fstab
(it happened just one day but the other days it worked well).

I will monitor this thread so you can give me debugging instructions and will
give your more info.
