hi.
yes the resizing normally works fine, just sometimes it goes wrong and locks to
a small size.
I do have a few of those "service menu" *.desktop files, folder colouring ones,
could those have an effect? I thought they just ran shell commands. 

the corrupt file is long gone, when it happens again I'll take a snapshot. it's
happened a few times now.
