I have also experienced this issue since updating to Plasma 6.

My system:
Operating System: Manjaro Linux 
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Kernel Version: 6.6.46-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 20 × 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700K
Memory: 31.1 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 580 Series

Firefox: 129.0.1 (64-bit) for Manjaro; AFAIK, it isn't sandboxed.

The following apps have this issue:
Dolphin 24.05.2-1
Gwenview 24.05.2-1
kfind 24.05.2-1

>From vscode 1.92.1-1, zero files are dropped, and to Dolphin - only one. But
probably bug 483645 is involved here
