I tried compressing a single file using your instructions but did not get a
crash. Are you able to test with the current (only recently released) 24.08.0
Dolphin and see if the crash is still 100% reproducible? If you cannot get it
from your distro you can try from Flathub:
https://flathub.org/apps/org.kde.dolphin or via Fedora's Koji builds that
