I am unable to reproduce this exact bug, however I get the following:

1. Open kolourpaint
2. Open dolphin
3. Move dolphin over kolourpaint so it covers the whole image area
4. Start dragging an image file from dolphin
5. Switch windows (alt+tab) to kolourpaint so that the image area is now shown
6. Drop the image on kolourpaint

For me, its being still dropped in dolphin itself. Dolphin pops back up and
asks do I want to copy/move/link.
