Selection markers can already be disabled in the Dolphin settings. If we don't
have a plan in mind how users are supposed to accomplish a basic task
(selecting items diagonally next to each other), it doesn't make sense to me
that we would be removing a feature. The same applies to Folder View AFAIAC,
but even if it didn't, basic functionality is more important than consistency
in this case IMO.

Maybe the story is different in a year or two when users had the chance to get
accustomed to selection mode for selecting, but until then Resolved Intentional
seems to be fitting for this bug report to me.
