Bug ID: 478482
Summary: Folders named "?" can't be accessed in Dolphin.
Classification: Applications
Product: dolphin
Version: 23.08.4
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: major
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
Reporter: holyzolly at trash-mail.com
CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
Target Milestone: ---
On Manjaro KDE Stable I noticed that I can’t access folders named “?” anywhere
in the folder name in Dolphin (I’m on KDE Plasma. No issue doing so in Nemo) .
Dolphin shows the thumbnails that are contained in the folder, and can create
such folders.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a folder in Dolphin. Or rename an existing one.
2. Try to open it.
OBSERVED RESULT
You're being kicked back to the parent folder.
EXPECTED RESULT
Open the folder and show its contents.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:

KDE Plasma Version: 5 27 10
KDE Frameworks Version: 5 112 0
Qt Version: 5 15 11
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
on LTS Kernels 515, 61, 66
It used to work on Dolphin prior version.
