Hi, I realized that when I'm on the "Details view" mode, I can right-click the
column headers and choose "Automatic column widths", which will result in the
behavior I was expecting. So this is not a bug.

However, I would like to suggest having this option checked as the default... I
do not see a reason for columns not adjusting to the available window width and
maybe many users will expect this to be a better user experience by default.
