            Bug ID: 445289
Summary: Dolphin bookmarks do not show up in Open/Save dialog
                    for other KDE application
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 21.08.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: juris788999344 at outlook.com
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Added folder/directory bookmarks in Dolphin will not show up in other KDE
application's Open/Save dialogs.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Initial condition - no bookmarks registered in Dolphin or any other way in
KDE
2. Add directory to bookmarks in Dolphin
3. Open some KDE application, for example kate
4. Open "Open dialog" and see if previously bookmarked directory from step 2 is
visible under bookmarks on "Open dialog"

OBSERVED RESULT
No bookmarks available in "open dialog".

EXPECTED RESULT
Bookmarks available in "open dialog"

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.87.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.10.77-3-lts (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 13,6 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD RENOIR

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Same behavior is observable for Save/Save As dialog.

I managed to resolve the situation by adding a bookmark from some KDE
application's Open dialog. This action deleted (unexpectedly) all Dolphin
bookmarks. After this, adding bookmarks from either Dolphin or Open/Save
dialogs worked in synchronized manner.
