Simple workaround for the time being: just make it a habit to make a little
detour and move the cursor into the sidebar from above, that way it will never
bug out because the issue arises from hovering the cursor over the sidebar's
resize area/border. Also, as a bonus, if you forget and it bugs out on you,
just move it up and outside the sidebar for a moment and it will go back to
normal.
