Confirmed on Dolphin 20.12.3 and:
Operating System: Solus 4.2
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

The lower status bar didn't update until I hit refresh (F5) after deleting
files and the left places bar didn't update.
