Can't this be implemented in one of two simple ways?

1) Simply give the user the option to "Allow caching thumbnails from encrypted
and remote locations"

Enabling this option would disable/ignore the "safety check" on whether or not
caching thumbnails is allowed.

Or...

2) If the user's $HOME is located in an encrypted location (such as LUKS), then
the "safety check" should be disabled/ignored.

As it currently stands, KDE currently has implemented a "halfway" safety
measure, since it *does not consider*...

* ...the user's preference
* ...if the user's $HOME is encrypted anyways
* ...if the remote network share (e.g., SMB, NFS) is encrypted on the server
itself
