            Bug ID: 441423
Summary: Continuous file rename function moves to the wrong
                    file
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 21.08.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: popov895 at ukr.net
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

The continuous file rename feature (when renaming files, move to next file
using tab/up/down key) currently doesn't work properly.

The problem is that when renaming the current file and pressing the tab/up/down
key, the rename text field moves to the wrong file if the new name of the
current file affects the sort order. For example, we have files 1, 2 and 3.
Then, after renaming file 1 to 4 and pressing the tab/down key, the rename text
field moves to file 3, but not to file 2 (as expected).
