Could this bug have the same cause as
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407990, which is about session restore? I
remember to have experienced this bug before 20.08, but only in connection with
session restore. Since 20.08, I experience this bug whenever Dolphin is started
with the terminal pane opened.
