There is one more workaround. I have added a new line to the file
"/etc/xdg/autostart/org.kde.dolphin.desktop" with the following:

Hidden=true

It has the effect that dolphin won't come up unintentionally after login.

I don't notice any problem after the file "org.kde.dolphin.desktop" has been
deleted or I add a new line to the file "Hidden=true".
It works for me in both cases.

Would this new line solve the issue?
