Regarding comment #9: This seems to be a different bug, in
KIO::DesktopExecParser.  If the command is to be run in a terminal, then the
full terminal executable path needs to be resolved so that the "realExecutable"
test in KProcessRunner::KProcessRunner() does not fail.
