I experience the same high cpu usage in general when copying files (or having
any animated tray icon) and it seems that this is an ongoing problem for
several years now (see [1] and [2] for example) with different suggested
workarounds (that from glancing over it, do not address the real problem). I
don't know what the underlying cause of this is but I would be nice if it could
finally be found and addressed...
