Bug ID: 417640
Summary: unintuitive right mouse click default behavior for
create new
Product: dolphin
Version: 19.12.2
Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
Reporter: sabayon11 at gmail.com
CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
Target Milestone: ---
When I do right mouse click in empty folder, the default behavior is correct:
the first item on a list is "create new":

But when there is some content in a folder but also there is some "empty space"
and I click on this "empty space", not on any file or folder, the default
behavior shows "open with" on the first position, which makes no sense at all,
because I don't want to open "empty space". When I click on "empty space" this
means that I want to create a new folder or a new file.

"Open with" should be as an option on the first position only when user click
on file or folder.
Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0
Qt Version: 5.14.1
Kernel Version: 5.4.18-1-MANJARO
OS Type: 64-bit
