Not sure how to fix it, unfortunately, I haven't dug into how the new navigator
stuff works. The issue seems to be that the new url navigator stuff doesn't
always set m_urlNavigatorConnected (I tried adding some singleShot hacks to
retry/delay the calls to setSearchModeEnabled, which didn't seem to be enough).
