            Bug ID: 424950
Summary: Dolphin does not retain "Modified Time" when files and
folders are copied to Android devices
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 20.04.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: yotejes502 at icanav.net
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When users copy files and folders to an Android Smartphone via Dolphin. Then
the copied files and folders do not have the same timestamp (Modified Time) as
the source file and folder.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Dolphin in KDE neon.
2. Connect your Android 10 Smartphone to your computer via USB.
3. Search files and folders in Dolphin and copy them to Android 10 Smartphone.
4. View the copied files and folders in the internal storage of your Android
Smartphone.
5. Now look at the timestamp (Modified Time) and you will see that the
timestamp (Modified Time) has not been kept. The current time has been set.
6. :(

OBSERVED RESULT
I copy files and folders to Android 10 Smartphones.

EXPECTED RESULT
I expected the copied files and folders in the internal memory of Android
Smarthphones to have the same timestamp (modified time) as the source files and
folders.

If I do the same with a USB flash drive, these problems do not exist.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE neon (July 23, 2020)
https://files.kde.org/neon/images/user/20200723-1119/neon-user-20200723-1119.iso

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The same problem also occurs when unpacking archive files (zip) to Android
smartphones.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 2
The same problem also occurs when two Android 10 Smartphones are connected to
the computer and the user copies files and folders from first Android
Smartphone to second Android Smartphone.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 3
On Windows 10 with Windows File Explorer these problems do not exist.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 4
A user on YouTube told me that the problem also exists when users use KDE
Connect to wirelessly transfer files to KDE neon.
I have not tested it myself.
