I believe that using baloo is a very serious logical mistake.
Because:
- Most users do not use search 24/7.
- Baloo at the same time kills my SSD and takes a lot of resources.
- Dolphin gives an irrelevant search due to Baloo.
- Dolphin cannot just find files that are not in the index. This tricks the
user. No as a result of the search? So this file does not exist!
Me and 99% of users are ready to wait 5 seconds to find the file. They have
been asking for this for almost a decade.
The days of Windows 98 (file indexing) and super-slow hard drives are over.
Need to give up Baloo. And ready-made solutions for the search are already
there. For example KFind.
