Hello David,
regarding Konqueror, I become its mantainer a few months ago. Currently I'm 
trying to make it work with the new web engine provided by the Qt library 
(called QWebEngine and based on Chromium's web engine). Unfortunately, I've 
been quite busy so I didn't have much time to work on Konqueror; besides 
QWebEngine is very different from the old web engine (QtWebKit) so that 
switching from one to the other requires a lot of work.

As for removing you from this mailing list, you should be able to do it 
yourself by following the instructions at the bottom of the subscribe page 
(https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kfm-devel). Basically, you need to 
enter your email address in the text box at the bottom of the page, click on 
the "Unsubscribe or edit options" button, then choose to unsubscribe.
