Ah, I wasn't aware of this. The problem they describe exist but only if you have "single click to open folder" activated in the general settings and then double click an folder. It would open it and immediately go back. Honestly, however, it's like beeing allergic to pizza, but eating pizza all day long. You can't save all. In addition the problem got only that attention because they decided against an option for activating/deactivating the doubleCklickToGoUp functionality. Me on the other side like the option.

If we stay with the provided option, I'd vote for disabled on default to avoid irritation. Someone who actively enabled this function won't file a bug report easily in case he encounter the problem described above :P

This is, however, a decission for the core developers. My opinion is not strong on this option-yes-no/enabled-yes-no issue.
