I was mainly trying to emphasis that it is all a matter of the component set
being used.
For example a component set based on QtWidgets can easily provide a tree view
and that could be true for others as well.

I kind of hope the people working on QtQuick.Controls will do that at some
point. Their goal seems to be that controls can be used for do standard
desktop applications and you'll need tree views for that.
