This is sort of an off-the-wall idea, so I apologize if it is
terrible: what if we allow users to assign arbitrary services to the
three remaining dolphin corners? Then klook would only need to
provide a servicemenu item, and users could assign it to a corner
themselves?
One disadvantage of this is it lacks discoverability It might be
possible that, by default, when installed, klook assigns itself to the
first empty corner (if any). Perhaps there could be a compile-time
opt-in or opt-out switch for this behaviors, so distros can decide
themselves.
This would also make it easier for other, similar applications to hook
into the corners. And it would make it easy for users to disable the
feature if they don't like it.
