please not bugzilla (i hate that thing), but i have to +1 that the TT 
bugtracker is just horrible to use from the outside =/

as Thiago pointed out, the quality is quite tied to early adoption. waiting 
longer will not get these things fixed in Qt, it'll just ensure that we deal 
with the problems a worse point in time (when they are working on 4.2 rather 
than 4.1)

well, we were already using a 4.4 pre-release; the jump to rc1 was therefore 
not unexpected. and we're not very late in the cycle. only about half-way 
through. we're not even feature frozen yet.

i do feel your frustration (many things have broken in plasma as well with the 
jump to4.4) ...
