I report Qt bugs when:

a) they are not glaringly obvious/alpha-quality and

b) I can reproduce them with a proper testcase.

I did for instance , for the factor 2.5 speed regression in 
QFontMetrics::width() from Qt 4.3 to Qt 4.4 beta, making 
font handling a whooping 40 times slower than in Qt 3.
