KDOM2 and KHTML::DOM

Hi,

 is there any plan to change the KHTML::DOM in KDOM2 or something 
similar? We would like to know what are the plans regarding the DOM 
implementation that is in KHTML in trunk, if it will change 
drastically, if there are no plans developing it, etc.
