  I'm working hard to get a development model environment that's compatible 
and won't result in a fork again.  I'm don't have one yet.  As far as the 
development work goes, we will try to re-add much of the work, but it's going 
to be the case that some things will be lost.  This is unavoidable I think, 
and is a trade-off that we have to consider in the face of gaining other 
functionality and improvements that we don't have, along with a far wider 
developmer base.
