File attribute preservation on copy as default request (especially for digital cameras!)

I would like to request that when files are copied within konqueror
that the file attributes, specifically the date and time of the file,
are preserved.  For certain operations such as copying photographs
from digital cameras, files flash media, etc, this feature as a
default would be greatly appreciated.  While digital photographs have
the date in the exif tag, movies generally do not have embedded dates.
 The feature would also be useful as you can see the true date of the
images in file listings within Konqueror.  An option when dragging and
dropping files called 'Sync Here' under the normal 'Move Here', 'Copy
Here', and 'Link Here' options, which replicates the copy operation
but preserves the file date, would be a good replacement if preserving
attributes on copy is considered a bad idea.
