Legacy Konqueror compatibility in AJaX

First of all, thanks for that information: great stuff.  Especially the UTF-8
hack.

Has anyone done any experiments with hidden iframes in legacy Konqueror to
fake AJaX functionality?  I really don't want to leave them behind if I can
avoid it, and if hidden frames will get the job done then so be it.
