open file and close konqueror

Hello

first of all thank you very much for your extraordinary work you do with 
Konqueror!

A do have a rather stupid question which I couldn't get resolved by using the 
normal Linux forums: Is there a way to close konqueror while opening a file? 
I think of something like normal left click on the file and pressing a 
certain key to close konqueror at the same time...

Does this magic key combination already exist?
