bug 15876, 2 line status bar

Can anyone reproduce bug 15876?
I can't reproduce it on debian 3.5.2 packages.

I tried with
(a) a really long file name.
(b) a really long file type description (i.e. changed type from "plain text 
document" to something much longer.)

So, can anyone reproduce this or have any ideas what might cause it?
Is this a suse specific bug?
