Hi Matthias,
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your code can no longer be
used. KDE 3.5 is now feature-frozen, so your new plugin cannot be added
to it. The next version to be released will be KDE 4, which is at least a
year away and will require Qt4 (so you'll have to port).
But, there's still hope: you can make your plugin be released as a
separate application from extragear and let it live alongside the current
webarchiver plugin. You could call it "Enhanced WebArchiver" or
something. For KDE4, this could be revisited.
You just can't replace the existing one for KDE 3.5.
