status of designmode/contenteditable

Hi,

I just wanted to know how the status of bug 48302 is. Can we expect this for
KDE 3.5?
Is it possible (or how much is possible) to merge from WebKit (as Safari 1.3
has it allready working)?

This would really be a killer-feature (actually the only reason i'm stick to
firefox).
