Re. the earlier thread "CSS ex unit sizing"

I submitted the addition of xHeight to QFontMetrics patch for both QT3 and QT4 
to Trolltech, this is their response.

The only way to get accurate css ex sizing is from the fonts xHeight metric so 
I guess the only alternative is to write a wrapper to query the xHeight from 
the freetype font otherwise simply not bother with accurate ex height 
calculations.
