By "it's safe" you mean that it isn't called by the parser, 
right?

This patch does the job for me... OK to apply that and undo your 
commits (html/html_tableimpl.cpp and xml/xml_tokenizer.cpp) and 
of course my commit (xml/dom_nodeimpl.cpp)?
