KDE inherently insecure on OpenBSD?

That's what one might conclude from the KDE error message
"chgpttyown of ptt[1-9] failed. As a result, this conversation
can be eavesdropped." (I'm typing from memory, so the
text may be not quite right). I am seeing this message a LOT
now with OpenBSD 3.8 when I exit KDE.
