It appears I forgot one detail. I started the implementation focussing on KDE 4, but after many problems. That work finally died when it turned out kdeprint didn't work. It needs to be either rewritten or updated for Qt4. This cost me two weeks work, and means the project will apply to and only work for KDE 3.5. `Allan
