No, and no. The only impression from the WebCore code is that it's a huge 
effort in merging, and that the Apple people discouraged us from using the 
code yet. (Apple -- does this still hold true?)

I've got a project deadline at the end of September, so I can't contribute 
much to KDE. By October, I'll have a full-time job, so I won't contribute 
much to KDE either. In November, there's already feature-freeze.

So don't expect too much. I'll have yet to look into it by detail to assess 
whether contenteditable is viable for 3.4
