Hello,
First thanks so much for such great software. It is really
incredible. I use it every day and have been very happy. I'm not
subscribed to this list ... so I hope this is not spam.

At one point in file view, I left clicked on a *.m file and
associated emacs with it. While I often want to open a file with emacs
many times I just want to see the contents of the file quickly and the
default viewer that works with files not associated is sufficient. I
wonder if there is a way of quickly getting back to the default viewer.
It might be nice to hold down the shift (or some other key) to get the
quickest file view possible, saving full blown emacs for when one really
needs it. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks,

    John
