Oh, you seem not to have checked out the branch.
Using the branch is a matter of
cvs -d<cvs-account+path> co -rKDE_3_2_BRANCH kdelibs
for example (in another directory as your kde HEAD checkout). You have to
configure and recompile it (under another prefix as kde HEAD). Summarized,
things get complicated when you have HEAD, *and* a branch around ;-)
However, this question wasn't particularly directed at you, but at the core
kfm developers whether it were principally ok to backport this change to the
branch.
