Reload doesn't keep scroll position

Yeah, many thanks. I've come up with a small patch (that builds more or less 
upon Jeroen's approach) that keeps the scroll position across reloads for 
frameless documents.

I additionally moved the emission of finishedLayout right after root->layout, 
and before root->paint, so that any position changes take effect immediately. 
However, it /seems/ as there is a longer break between the first reflow and 
the first paint. How fast is emitting a signal that isn't connected to any 
slots?
