Hello,
I wrote a patch that fixes bug 66722 [1]. It is actually an alternative
implementation of Jean-Baptiste's patch posted earlier on this list, but
without the need to traverse the whole document to find the <img> that refers
to the <area>.
To achieve it, I had to touch a number of places to record not only the
innerNode of a mouse event, but also the innerNonSharedNode.
There are still problems which inhibit the fixing of 66722:
- - maybeTip is not called when the mouse is moved from an enclosing element's
title to a child element's title when the child element's rectangle lies
within the parent element's rectangle (apparently a Qt-related problem).
- - image maps on <input type=image> are not supported at all.
Please review. If nobody complains, I'll commit next week:
