konqueror bug in 3.2.2?

Often konqueror (3.2.2 under knoppix) gets into a mode
where everytime I move the cursor to a different
textbox on a webform (or to/from the address box)
konqueror will freeze up for several seconds (10 sec
on my 266 Mhz pentium) before I can type anything.

The only solution seems to be getting out of all my
kde apps and restarting konqueror.

Is this avoidable?
